A disgruntled customer
On 12/1/2021 at 1:54 PM MT, FedEx delivered a package to this postal facility with my name on it. They also delivered two additional packages from this same sender for a total of three packages. I checked the tracking via the company’s website to see if the packages had been delivered and they confirmed that they were dropped off in the mailroom of the post office. I received two of the packages in my mailbox, but not the third. Today, 12/8/2021, I contacted the post office and spoke with the Post Master to express my concern for this missing package. She asked me for a tracking number and I advised her that I only had the FedEx tracking number. I gave her my post office box information and she said that that the package was probably returned if it was missing the actual P.O. Box number. I advised her that according to the tracking email that all three of the packages contained the same address for delivery. She then stated that she didn’t know where it was and that it was “probably sent back the next day”. She advised that she had no way of confirming that the package was sent out because it contained a FedEx tracking number and not a USPS tracking. I asked her if they all had the same address why would they only send one of them back. She didn’t have an answer. She then told me that there was nothing that she could do for me and that they currently had a line and were busy. This is the 2nd time that something like this has happened to me at this post office. The first time they said this, the package was in fact still at the post office and mysteriously showed up in my mailbox. They do not have a consistent protocol and are doing things at their own discretion vs. policy. They are extremely rude and it is almost impossible to get any assistance from any of the employees because they all show very little interest in being helpful. Having a P.O. Box is a paid service and I am definitely not getting my money’s worth dealing with instances of this matter.
