    To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the intentional destruction of my property by a USPS mail carrier. I reside at 8 Walnut Valley Parkway, Arden, North Carolina, and have been required to address this issue on three separate occasions due to the deliberate actions of the mail carrier.

Specifically, I have photographic evidence of this carrier intentionally driving over my grass at an accelerated speed, causing significant damage by tearing up the sod and propelling it approximately 15 feet into the street. As a result, I have had to replace the grass multiple times.

I previously reported this issue to Jeanie Rhinehart, who suggested that I relocate my mailbox six inches closer to the street. However, as a matter of fact, my mailbox is positioned at the same or closer distance to the street as many other mailboxes in the neighborhood. The suggestion to move my mailbox is not only unreasonable but also appears to be a discriminatory request, as my mailbox is well within a reasonable reach from the street.

This situation involves a clear pattern of deliberate misconduct by a particular mail carrier, and it is imperative that this vandalism be addressed immediately. I have resided at this address for over two years and have not experienced any similar incidents until July of this year. Furthermore, there have been days when mail delivery occurs without any damage, demonstrating that the carrier is fully capable of delivering the mail without driving onto my property.

The fact that on certain days the carrier intentionally drives onto my lawn and accelerates in a manner designed to damage the grass constitutes vandalism. I respectfully request that this matter be escalated to the highest authority within USPS, and that arrangements be made to review the photographic evidence and corresponding dates to substantiate my claim.

Please contact me at 949-933-8888 to discuss this matter further. I appreciate your attention to this serious issue and look forward to your prompt response.

    Sincerely,
    Ken Ward
