My package left this post office and arrived at the Denver Distribution Center tampered with and contents missing. Thinking logical the sticker that was placed on my tampered box said “received” contents missing which means it arrived in Denver without its contents. The tear in the box was not large enough for my item to pass through which begs the question, did an employee of USPS at the Floretta Pl facility tamper with my box and remove its contents? It has been 2 months since it was mailed and my item has not been recovered. Does this leave only one possibility? Was my item stolen? I don’t know but I do know the supervisor here won’t return my phone calls. USPS has offered a pittance, not even close to insured value. The supervisor here doesn’t seem to question why one of its clerks immediately went on the defensive when asked if they had seen the object. Then this same employee went on to call the person who mailed it all kinds of names. Hmmm? The only explanation I can come to is that my box was tampered with and it’s contents stolen while in the possession of USPS and nobody in charge seems to be concerned of what may have happened to my mail.
