I am very frustrated at the incompetent workers at this location. I mailed a large envelope, one stamp to my niece at college. It contained her birth certificates for passport needs to study abroad. My carrier picked up from my house, without issue, yet the Oneonta office refused to deliver it charging my niece over 3 dollar claiming it was a package because I put cardboard in it to keep the documents safe. Their poor little hand had to handle it, and it couldn’t be machined which required the extra postage, according the whiney chick I spoke to (yet my mail carrier didn’t think so or he would’ve left me a note for more postage). I explained my niece recently lost her mother, and doesn’t have a car to go to the post office. We agreed she could put the extra money in her mailbox and the carrier would bring the item back for delivery. It has been almost a week and it still hasn’t been delivered.
I wonder how much these idiots are making as they obviously can’t do the job. I see a ton of negative reviews. Time to get some new hires. Pathetic service indeed.
